This place is honestly one of the best spots to grab ice cream. The flavors are super rich and actually taste homemade, not artificial at all. I tried a couple samples before picking, and everything I tasted was really good. The staff were really friendly and patient, especially while I was deciding (which took a while 😭). The portions are generous, and the waffle cones taste fresh, not stale like some places. The shop itself was clean and had a chill vibe—definitely a good place to hang out for a bit. Prices are a little higher than average, but honestly worth it for the quality. Overall: Great flavors, good service, and a nice atmosphere. I’d definitely come back.

We stumbled across Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream on the way to our hotel and decided to give it a try because the line was so long and it caught our attention. It was definitely worth it. Even though there was a big line, it moved really quickly and the ice cream absolutely lived up to the hype. I got the Monkey Business flavour expecting an artificial banana taste, but it genuinely tasted like real banana and I was so impressed. Such creamy, high quality ice cream. I’ll definitely be coming back on my next trip to America and I highly recommend everyone tries this place!

i expected indulgence, but the sampler itself impressed me most. the banana cream pie was quite the beige-squib experience, it basically just tasted like frozen korean banana milk with barely enough mix-ins to justify the "pie" name.. yet the grand central station was a clear standout: nutty, salted-caramel rich, slightly old-fashioned that was comforting and decadent 😋 mint oreo was very aggressively minty, and the chocolate peanut butter brownie was yum, but far too light, i wanted heavier, denser, and more "brownie" or "peanut butter" richness. seems like creamy textures and light flavours are the common tidbits here, still, the sampler earns its keep: fun to mix, low risk, and something i'd definitely get again, just with better choices hopefully!

What a great ice cream experience! ...we eat a lot of ice cream and so were quite pleased that a local friend took us to this place on a warm afternoon after having a nice lunch at The Attic over in another part of town. However, do not let the long line deter you. It moves quickly and we had our ice cream in no time. I tried the dark cherry and the pineapple upside down cake, my wife got a couple other flavors, and our lactose-free friend had the pomegranate sorbet and the mango sorbet. All were excellent but the sorbet is what really surprised us. I would never choose that over ice cream, but the flavor of both was excellent and the smooth creaminess of the mango was surprising and a nice treat for a sorbet. Their ice cream is all house-made, which makes a big difference. We always ask if a place makes their own and try to support places like this that are not buying from a mass factory producer.
